Discover coastal tourism business opportunities. Miles Philips will share examples of businesses with whom he has worked to develop successful rural tourism products and services.

Miles Phillips joined the Oregon State University Extension as Associate Professor of Tourism and Business Development in the fall of 2016. He has
more than 15 years of experience developing nature tourism programs that meet the needs of local people, businesses and agencies; and he initiated the Extension Nature Tourism Program at Texas A&M University. Miles is also an experienced private sector project manager and consultant. He is based in Bandon, Oregon and supports Oregon’s Coastal communities with their tourism and outdoor recreation needs.
