Most Important Thing I’ve Learned

The most important thing that I learned in this course is from week nine’s lecture, that is, negotiation of the hiring process. Specifically, it mainly includes two points, one is that in the recruitment process, the company will spend a lot of thought to attract and excavate the talents they want, to absorb them. The process is full of mystery. Another important point is that, as a job seeker, before making a decision on which career position to choose, I need to consider all aspects, including salary, promotion channels, and benefits. These two topics are an important part of the recruitment process. In the future, I may be a recruiter, and I need to know how to play my role and perform my duties better from the perspective of the needs of the enterprise as a recruiter. And I will definitely become a job seeker first, and I need to know clearly the preparation and mediation of the job search process.

From the perspective of a recruiter, I think this course has taught me the following points: Before recruiting, it is necessary to clarify what kind of talents the company needs, and then formulate relevant rules and systems to screen resumes on this basis, so as to reduce the uncertainty and cost in the recruitment process. The second is to pursue a diversified talent selection model in the recruitment process to avoid the recruitment of personnel too simple. The second is to pursue fairness and avoid bias, so as not to damage the corporate image and cause brain drain.

From the perspective of an applicant, before applying for a job, I need to have a clear understanding of my own situation, including ability cognition, the needs I want to obtain, and the position I am going to apply for and the corporate culture and job requirements. For the positions with low matching degree, I need to screen out before the interview. Secondly, it is to establish diversified job acquisition channels, including the first time to obtain job demand information through diversified channels such as networking and job search websites, and occupy the opportunity.
