Gender Lens: Rigamajig

Today, toy companies strive to challenge their users to explore their creativity through new and unique innovations. Rigamajig, a toy building kit, was designed in 2011 for kids to practice essential skills while experimenting with their own ideas. Rigamajig teaches three-dimensional learning through building blocks and tools. Rigamajig markets to all children of both genders and encourages them to think outside of the box and enjoy a toy that fosters growth through “creative and cooperative learning” (Cas Holman 2011).
