Hi Tessa, I really appreciate how clearly you’ve outlined your strengths and values—they align really well with the collaborative and service-driven environment of public health. Given your interest in healthcare administration, you might want to explore salary and benefit trends for nonprofit vs. government roles in that space. For example, many public health positions with county or state agencies offer strong retirement packages and student loan forgiveness eligibility (like PSLF), which can be useful leverage in negotiations—even if the starting salary isn’t the highest. Also, your strengths in communication and pressure management are in demand in change management roles within healthcare systems, where improving internal processes can have a huge impact. Those are worth highlighting when discussing your value with potential employers.
