OSU construction update – July 2023

Construction season is in full swing at the OSU Corvallis campus with 17 active capital projects and several more set to start before September. Beaver fans and student athletes will notice some big changes to OSU’s athletics facilities when they return in the fall. The Completing Reser Stadium project, which also includes the new Student Welcome Center and a campus wellness clinic, is on track to wrap up before the first home football game. Student Legacy Park is getting a refresh this summer, with new field turf, updated sand volleyball courts, resurfaced tennis and basketball courts and new shade structures. Whyte Track & Field Center is also getting a major upgrade this summer with the addition of a 1,200 seat, partially-covered grandstand that includes a press box and new restrooms. Dixon Recreation Center will see multiple improvements as well including an updated multi-purpose room for mind-body wellness programs and a new sun deck area.
