It’s important to take responsibility for the mistakes you make. It’s also important to take a breath if you introduce a bug into production code. I often find myself panicking in these situations and then realizing that if I don’t relax, I won’t be able to solve the issue. It’s important not to dwell on the feeling of shame when things like this occur, and to share what you know with the team as soon as possible.
