I’m really excited to be working on the project I’m on. I got assigned to the project Betchya, which is the second version of a sports betting app that is geared towards tribal casinos. It’s an industry project and so far it seems like we’re just integrating straight into their team – attending standups, attending sprint plannings and sprint reviews, all that good Agile stuff. Feels like we just got hired onto a new software team, really. The great thing, too, is that this project uses the technologies that my job following graduation will use, so I’m basically getting extra practice and preparation prior to starting! The Betchya mobile app is written using Flutter and also uses the state management library called Bloc, which the company I’ll be working at uses and contributes to. I’m looking forward to see where this project takes me, and all I’ll get to learn!
