Prompt: Reflect on the peer-review process with you as the reviewer. How did it feel to read and critique someone else’s writing? What did you learn that you can apply to your own writing as you revise your final essay?
Reading and critiquing someone else’s writing was both scary and exciting. I feel bad critiquing others’ writing because I do not want to make them feel as if they have done wrong. It is exciting, however, because you get to gain insight into another person’s mind and what they are writing about. Some things I learned that I can apply to my own final essay is to put in-text citations, especially when the source is not peer reviewed.
