Reflecting on the development of our Secure Password Manager with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), the journey has been both challenging and rewarding. My greatest hurdle was integrating the TOTP functionality, a task that tested our problem-solving skills and required a deep dive into the encryption process. I learned a lot about working on a repository with multiple people and components.
This project, chosen for its potential to significantly enhance user security, has surpassed my expectations, providing insight into different cybersecurity areas. Despite the challenges, the importance of teamwork became evident, enabling us to overcome obstacles more efficiently.
If I were to start over, a focus on better error handling and testing from the beginning would be my priority. This experience has not only boosted my confidence in handling complex software projects but also highlighted the importance of resilience and continuous learning in technology.
