My great-grandfather, Frank Marks, (he is listed as Frank Marrs in the book mentioned below) was one of the men who helped transport the elk once they were in Oregon! I would appreciate any other information, including pictures. In the book, Record Book for Oregon’s Big Game Animals, Second Edition, there is a picture on page 17 of the elk being unloaded. My grandfather, Ray Marks, Frank’s son, identified Frank as being the 3rd man from the right where the “fence” meets the crate.
