About
The Master Woodland Manager (MWM) program provides landowners with advanced, hands-on training and skill building in forest management. A defining feature of the program is its emphasis on community engagement — graduates are encouraged to share their knowledge and skills with neighbors, peers and local organizations. For more than 40 years, MWM graduates have helped sustain Oregon’s forests and strengthen community connections.
Master Woodland Manager is coordinated by Oregon State University’s Forestry & Natural Resources Extension program. Funding for Master Woodland Manager is provided by the Oregon Forest Resources Institute.
