Open Oregon State Luncheon

  October 27th, 2014

While the ARt project was recently not chosen as one of 2014-2015 eecs capstone senior projects for a second year, project development on paper continues in on-going partnership with cs faculty.

Designing user refinements on paper comprises this year’s focus, and includes making inroads in the problems of translating real time touring models into the mobile environment.

In between, the ARt project director will attend such learning opportunities as the Open Resource luncheon tomorrow.
Those who’ve pre-registered will learn about OERs (Open Education Resources), followed by two workshops featuring a summary of current projects, and a showcase of examples from Oregon State’s first MOOC, learning modules and interactive textbooks.
The videoscribe presentation provides a nice intro to the basis of the MOOC concept and definition, and this link takes you to some of the best university Open Learning resources.
