If I am being honest, it would be for selfish reasons. I come from a background of Hispanic descent, but I know nothing about my heritage. I have always dreamed of living in the area from which my grandparents are from, in order to get a feel for that part of my identity. In addition, I have heard that it is a little bit easier to become an MD in Latin America, and while I would still take that incredibly seriously (I mean, these are peoples&#8217; lives,) I would be able to continue my education in the field without a perfect 4.0-which is definitely something that I lack.
