{"id":80,"date":"2020-01-04T01:25:38","date_gmt":"2020-01-04T01:25:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/youthsafety\/?page_id=80"},"modified":"2020-01-24T01:25:40","modified_gmt":"2020-01-24T01:25:40","slug":"media-use","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/youthsafety\/basics\/media-use\/","title":{"rendered":"Media Use"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Advances in technology are enabling new forms of social interaction that may extend beyond the appropriate use of cameras or recording devices.&nbsp; The following policies are meant to ensure the appropriate use of digital media:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Inappropriate use of cameras, imaging, cell phones or digital devices is prohibited.<\/strong>&nbsp; It is inappropriate to use any device capable of recording or transmitting visual images in showers, restrooms, changing rooms or other areas where privacy is expected by participants.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li>Participants of OSU-sponsored youth programs<strong> must sign a Model and Information Release <\/strong>before pictures or videos can be used for reports, advertising or promotional materials. See the OSU Risk Services webpage for liability waiver and media release forms: <a href=\"https:\/\/risk.oregonstate.edu\/forms\">https:\/\/risk.oregonstate.edu\/forms<\/a>.
