If you are in reading this article, the chance of you have be in a group project is very high. Group project is inevitable in OSU Computer Science Postbaccalaureate program. Your group members can make this experience a blessing or a curse.
If you have work in group projects, you probably have meet at least of of these students in group projects if not all.
- The Procrastinator: Waiting for the last minute to finish the task.
- The Silent Student: Have no idea what’s going and only does bare minimum
- The Invisible Student: disappear after the meeting and only show up the day before the project is due.
- The Over-Promise & Under-Deliver: Promise to do x, y, z, but has no time to do it.
- The Control Freak: Wants to control every single aspects of the control and don’t believe you are capable of doing your own work.
One way to increase your chance of finding good team members is to look for them before the start of class.
This is my last group project at OSU. I was fortunate to find two groups members that I have work well before. I’m looking forward to finish my journey at OSU. I hope we will learned from each other, built a project that will be useful and get started in the industry.
