In the months ahead, I will be adding to this site with images and information on the five Christmas tree seed orchards established at the North Willamette Research and Extension Center.

The five grafted seed orchards at OSU’s North Willamette Research and Extension Center (NWREC) were established with the following purposes in mind;

• To maintain a repository of the best, tested scion for development of future seed orchards.
• To establish a unique opportunity for future genetic testing and experimentation on 5 species.
• Augment the PNWCTA’s seed supply needs for both future seedlings and seed auctions.
• To provide support to the OSU Christmas tree program via seed sales.
