    • After taking the Personality test, which I have done before, I learned that I am closer to a type B personality than type A. However I do not handle stress well and I have been trying to find healthier ways to deal with the stress I have in my life. Medications are one way that can help me manage my stress but I will need to develop other strategies to manage it because of the career path I have chosen. Stress will be something that I will have to get better at managing throughout my career because I will have to juggle different projects as a project manager. Getting better at planing and maintaining a daily schedule will help reduce my stress level. Since I currently don’t have a job, my morning routine is practically non existent which leads to added stress and less consistency in my life. When I have a full time job my routine will become more consistent and I will also be able to use the resources at my disposal provided by the company. Companies have different ways of handling stress in the workplace, sometime they have councilors or they provide information about an outside resource to use. Letting your employer know that you have problems handling your stress will give them a heads up and potentially give you more leeway when facing stressful situations. Providing employees with good enough pay to have a comfortable life outside of work if extremely important to keeping employee stress levels down. As well as giving them benefits to cover other health concerns that an employee may face outside of work. Physical exercise, better eating and sleeping habits can also reduce stress level. Metal health has become a lot more important in recent years and companies have started to adopt programs in order to ensure improved mental health of all their employees.
