I was working in a s**t job with s**t pay. I actually had to go back to my college hospitality job, for after hours, just to cover some red linings #SeattleCostOfLiving. After a few years with my day job, I was offered the opportunity to interact more with computer technologies. I took it in a heartbeat knowing that this will further my knowledge tool belt which I could later leverage with future job searches. I fell in love with what I was doing. I was in charge of creating and editing landing pages for our marketing side of the business. I knew that I had to do something more with this because of the fact that I was so into it every time I had assignments. I knew that my next job had to have a focus in IT. Around summer 2019, I discovered an opportunity to pursue my passion and become more familiar with these technologies. I think that I made the right decision because I am no longer stuck in a dead end.
