for this week, I think it is very rush. I think we do not have enough information to understand what is going on with the project. we are able to schedule an appointment with the sponsor, but I think the time for us to have the meeting was very late. tt was at Friday. the sponsor makes a good job of making a good presentation for us. however, due to I’m nervous(for no reason), I did not catch everything the sponsor had told us. I had sent an email to the sponsor to find out more about what is going on but so far no response yet. maybe for the upcoming assignment, I need to discuss with my teammate to find out more about what we need to do in this project. the sponsor has made some requirement for us but I think it is still unclear to me.
something went well for this week is we could finally have a chance to meet with the sponsor. we the sponsors are more friendly than I thought, during the presentation, they had made a good introduction about themselves. and also told us about their experience in this field. they are open-minded and the most important things are we need to communicate.
something that went poorly for this week is im still unclear about the requirement for this project. the only few things i know is we are focusing on the ResNet for thermal inkjet design applications, 1 team will in a change of deploying a generative algorithm, develop an auto train procedure for ResNet, construct visual WebApp interface for ResNet applications or Construct visual WebApp to guide design decisions. both of our team need to integrate applications to map microfluidic design space and build an automated workflow for TIJ design. so far that is what i know but i don’t know any more detail about the project.
some interesting technology i discover is React, it is a Javascript library. we could make use of it to develop a good UI for the user to use.
for this course, i think in the feature, i need to make more communication with the sponsor to ask more question and tell them my process.
