Hello and welcome to my new tech blog. I’m new to blogging as a whole so you’ll have to forgive my awkward writing voice. For this post I figured it would make sense for me to introduce myself as well as my interests and hobbies. I am 25 years old and got my first degree in industrial design from Virginia Tech in 2019. As the market was very stagnant for product designers I struggled to get a job in that field and ended up working as construction laborer for about a year before I decided to go back to school for Oregon State University in computer science. At this point I am now on my final semester at Oregon State and have secured a job with a consulting company primarily working in the salesforce ecosystem. More specifically, I am working with Marketing Cloud, an amalgamation of tools acquired by Salesforce that are used to manage databases and automations to drive customer engagement.

As for my interests, I like to paint a lot and every now and then perform some live streams on my youtube channel of my painting process. My style of art is fantastical and surreal, and most of my work is done on a black canvas. This is because I feel like the colors are a lot more dramatic on a darker background. Aside from artwork, when I have free time I love to play videogames with the biggest one being elden ring, which I dumped an unreasonable amount of time on right after its release and have since beaten about 14 times. Anyways, that’s about all I can think of off the top of my head and I look forward to posting more stuff as this capstone semester progresses.
