My name is Jenny and I’ll be your host as we traverse the world of science to discover microbial influences on human health. This blog is a record of my travel into the depths of academia and scientific know-how during BHS 323. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in English in a sunny oasis by the shore. Today, while I no longer live a very seafaring lifestyle, I keep busy with various activities. My day job, so to speak, involves charting in an ER. I also work as a phlebotomist when I can. On the side, I also write for an educational blog and assist with various writing projects. My favorite past times include cooking, crafting, and writing. I enjoy spending time with loved ones as much as possible, but I am an introvert at heart despite my social disposition.
