Welcome to my first blog post! My name is Tyler Renn, some people call me Ty, T-renn or Taylor (usually on accident, but I’ll still respond). I am currently located in Newberg, Oregon in the beautiful Willamette Valley, it really is beautiful….<\/p>\n\n\n\n

See, I wasn’t joking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of this beauty, I enjoy everything there is to do outside. I really mean everything… hiking, running, camping, hammocking, golf, pickleball, and the list really goes on. I also enjoy playing video games. My most recent gaming endeavor includes Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom…honestly, just stop reading this and go play it if you haven’t… or even if you have, I wouldn’t blame you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always loved computers and technology. I remember my brother, and I’s first Xbox 360. I couldn’t fathom the fact that a machine could read a disc spinning at 500 rpm and spit out Halo 3 to a tv screen connected by a cord. It was fascinating and there in my bedroom, is where my curiosity and ultimately my love for technology, began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years later, I find myself writing an intro blog for my Senior Capstone Project as I make the final push for my degree in Computer Science. It’s fun to look back at the journey, lots of late nights and LoFi and I’m sure there is more to come. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
