As we approach graduation, the job search stress has been ramping up! Although I am able to extend my internship, I have been on the hunt for a new position. For me, technical interviews tend to be the most stressful aspect of the job application process. This week, I’ll share two of the resources I’ve been using to help prepare.
Back to Back SWE
Back to Back SWE is a youtube channel with relatively short videos covering a range of common technical interview topics and problems. The videos are conveniently put into playlists by topic, including ‘Time and Space Complexity’ and ‘Dynamic Programming, Recursion, & Backtracking’.
Cracking the Coding Interview
This one is a book by Gayle Laakmann McDowell. I was recommended it by my first supervisor at my current development internship. Its size is a bit intimidating, but at least I will never run out of practice problems.
Here’s to a great rest of the quarter and let’s hope my technical interview prep pays off soon!
