Building And Maintaining The Website<\/b><\/p>\n

Developing a website that communicates with a server and a database to present constantly updating information, along with recommendations for users that use local data, will take around 400 hours<\/a> of work to develop. After the website is developed, it must be continually financed and updated in order to stay in working condition. The table below lists all developmental and continual costs that are required for the website.<\/p>\n

Funding Sources<\/b><\/p>\n

The initial $26,270 cost of developing the website and paying for all necessary services will need to be acquired through grants or donations. The donations can be secured by either starting a campaign or crowdfunding on larger sites like Facebook or Twitter. The Process and Technolgy Improvement Grant<\/a> is an example of a grant that could fund the development and maintenance of the website.<\/p>\n

Once the website has been developed, advertisements can be run on the website in order for the website to become self-sustaining.
