 The last “dance” will be a blog following my journey through a course at OSU. I figured the best way to start off the blog is share a little bit about myself. For this introduction, I will go over  my journey that lead me to OSU and an old but revitalized interest of mine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Before attending OSU, I was going to college in Billings, Montana. I majored in business administration with a finance option. Towards the start of my senior year, I had a realization that I wanted to do something else. Jobs in tech interested me and having family there helped with the thought of a potential transition. I was lucky enough to get a job testing hardware\/software. During this time, I realized the software behind the scenes fascinated me. After taking off just a couple days and coming back and being able to see the positives changes were eye opening. From then I knew computer science would be a perfect route for me to take. OSU gave me a great opportunity and that is how I started my path at OSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last few years I have started to play golf more consistently. When I moved to Seattle, I was able to connect with golfer cousin of mine Having someone to practice with pushed me to go more often than not. Over time practicing and playing the game peaked an interest I haven’t had for over 10 years. I decided to get some fitted clubs in order to get something to fit me. Along with the fitted clubs, my fitter gave me a few key pointers. My game was not magically changed over night, but instead has progressively gotten better and more consistent as time has gone on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introductions are not always the easiest things to do, but is a necessity when it comes to an opening blog. Hopefully as the years pass my golf game will improve, but that is never a guarantee. I am always thankful for my journey to OSU and the opportunities that this program gave me in my professional life. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
