The Key to Interviews

As an individual who has worked multiple different occupations as well as a person who has gone through the application and interview process at multiple places the variety that I have seen gives me insight on how to know when a company is worth your time based on an interview.

Starting with an interview failure on the company’s part, the worst thing that you can do as an interviewer is show up to your own interview late or even not at all. When looking for a company to work for, an individual is meant to be professional, so when they don’t see, the say being applied to the company it discourages them to work there. When you are being interviewed, you must attempt to present yourself as natural as you can with any attempts at pretending to be someone you are not will only lead to issues in the future. While it is important to meet the qualification for a job, if you are missing something it is important to point that out as a weakness you have while also stating that you want to work with the company to quickly improve or acquire that skill through proper guidance.

One of the best interviews I had recently showed great hiring management through proper etiquette and efficiency when it comes to interviews. Although there were issues with communication on timing and applications used for the interview, the manager was able to quickly ask ever interview question necessary to the company. Although I found the company was not right for me, it was nice to be able to be met with a kind individual that knew exactly what the needs of the company was. Overall, when conducting an interview, it is necessary to act on behalf of the company as a representative in search pf the best benefits to the organization.
