One key priority of the TEAMS project is to develop teachers’ knowledge and skills in family and community engagement.
Each district group will partner with a local community-based organization to co-develop and co-lead education-focused community events.
Our intention is that TEAMS participants will learn from leaders within the community organization and from community members, while at the same time the community organization will learn from TEAMS participants. This collaboration could involve an organization with which the district already partners or a new organization with which that district has not yet partnered.
