This summer, I am interning at an IT company named Language Networking (Wuhan) Information Technology Co., Ltd in China. It is my first internship this year, and it is a lot more than I thought it would be — in the best way possible. So far, I have already gained many skills, and I have learned more about different website tools used in translation. I have been working a lot with the managers and supervisors. I learned a lot about translation science and technology in this company. In this company, I mainly help our supervisors and business personnel translate articles on technology and finance. I found that while translating manuscripts for others, I was also learning the contents of articles. In addition, I found with the development of technology, no industry can develop without involving science and technology. For translation companies, the corpus and translation data in the translation software are stored in Cloud Firebase. In addition, the growth of machine translation technology also makes it easier for translators to use technology for translation. Therefore, after this internship, I have deeply realized the importance of science and technology and am very grateful for the courses I am now taking. The current course has taught me a lot about the software application. I hope I can make good use of my software knowledge in my future career.
