I didn’t think I’d be able to apply the knowledge from both classes so quickly! Although I’m a senior, I just started studying UI design this semester. In fact, based on my 4 years of college experience at OSU, I think every computer student should take the UI course (cs352) early. I think this class should be taken before CS290, because as far as I remember, the first time I was exposed to this part was in CS290, but because I didn’t take the UI course systematically, it caused some of my assignments. I think this class should be taken before CS290 because I remember that the first time I was exposed to this part was in CS290. But this semester, right after I finished the UI/UX course, our sponsor gave us the UI assignment. This was a real surprise to me! This freshly learned UI design knowledge is like freshly baked bread! I would love for my knowledge to be shown to everyone while it is still in my head at its best. Although previous students have done part of the UI design, I don’t think it fully follows Nielsen, Jakob’s “10 Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design. I want to use my fresh knowledge to modify our website. Hopefully this will make our site better!
