The 3 companies that I chose to write about today that practice HR include: Delta Airlines, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, and Hilton.
Starting with Delta Airlines, Delta practices HR in many ways; employees have even rated working for Delta a 87% out of 100%. Delta, a global company has 90,019 US employees; 92% of these employees have stated that they are proud to tell people they work for Delta. Delta practices HR by providing great benefits to their employees, having a good company culture, having a good workforce, as well as by providing a family like sense of community to their employees. Delta has also been awarded one of the best workplaces for diversity for 4 consecutive years (2016-2019).

The Hilton practices HR by including employees as a team, with feelings of connection/family, provides employees with great benefits, and has many opportunities for growth within the company. The Hilton had the highest ratings in many aspects such as best place to work for parents, millennial, women, diversity, etc every year from 2016-2021. The Hilton genuinely cares for their employees, and prides themselves in their success with HR practices.
In terms of what type of manager I would like to be, I would like to be a team leader. Someone who specializes in something whether that be a particular task, project, or product. I would to manage completing a project, on boarding new employees, as well as assigning specific tasks to team members that would best suite them. I feel I would succeed in managing in that form, as for management styles I feel I best fit the authoritative style. This is due to having great skills in keeping employees moving, with strict direction; I feel that I can take charge and provide employees with great direction based on their skills. Therefore this is the type of manger I would like to be.
The aspect of a mangers job that I feel to be most challenging is recruiting the best fit employees for very specific tasks. Finding people who fit every need of employers in todays world is challenging, especially when you are trying to hire for a very specific task. Therefore I think selecting/recruiting employees for roles such as those would be a challenging aspect of the job.
