My brand as a potential employee would be respectful, trustworthy, and put together. I applaud myself for being extremely respectful of any new people I meet, especially potential employers. My strengths include having a welcoming demeanor, being talkative but not overpowering, respecting people for who they are, and being easy to get along with. My weaknesses include sometimes being shy if I feel awkwardness or a non-welcoming environment, not having the right answers to questions right away without thinking about it, and seeming somewhat closed-off. The things that make me unique/different include being personable, open to new things, and being able to problem solve in intricate ways.
I would represent myself in a novel and creative wanted ad if necessary by creating an ad on a platform such as LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, or even Facebook. The ways I would represent myself include first describing the culture of the company in which I would want to work for. Second, I would describe the nature of myself and how I would benefit the company. I would describe how I am personable, respectful, always on time, keep my word, and work for the greater good of the company. To make this “situation wanted ad”, I would title it with an eye-catching short description, and then go on to describe what I am looking for in a company, and how I would in turn benefit them. I would make sure to highlight my unique skill sets in the situation wanted ad, as well as any other skill sets I deem necessary. I would present myself in the best way possible to attract potential employers, and publish the ad in as many places/websites as possible so that I can reach the greatest number of employers so that I can find the best possible work that not only fits my needs, but the companies as well.

Hi Stevie, first of all, thank you for sharing your thoughtful thought and your perspective toward Critiquing a Recruitment Ad. I do agree that we need to make a very good impression to the employers or interviewers especially that is the first impression. It is a great tool to advance the network to the social media especially we live in the era where technology is everywhere and most of us already social media to make connection or network not only in the United States but even around the world. One of the tools that we can do is we can see and reach out to the network via Handshake or LinkedIn, and other social media platform that can provide us the network or connection with the companies. Furthermore, it is important for us to represent ourselves and make a strong correlation with the job as well as the required skills that we need. It is because if we are hired, we will deal most of our time not spending time with our supervisor or co-workers, but we have to deal with the work or job itself. Thus, it is important that we have the capabilities that can meet the skills that are required to do the job in order to assess our qualification and make the employers agree that we are qualified to do the job
