{"id":139,"date":"2016-02-11T17:08:33","date_gmt":"2016-02-11T17:08:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/spectrometer\/?p=139"},"modified":"2016-02-11T17:09:45","modified_gmt":"2016-02-11T17:09:45","slug":"general-research-fund-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/spectrometer\/2016\/02\/11\/general-research-fund-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"General Research Fund Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Physics professors Matt Graham and David McIntyre will each receive\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/research.oregonstate.edu\/incentive\/general-research-fund\/funded-proposals\">General Research Fund<\/a> (GRF) awards this year.\u00a0The competitive, university-wide award enables faculty to launch new research projects in their fields of expertise to attract more funding sources, as the project expands, and to help develop ambitious research\/scholarly activities. Each research project was awarded annual funds of approximately $10,000.
