Here are several that are good candidates for treatment in the fall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Note: there are other herbicides and timings that are effective against these weeds. I\u2019ve just listed those with fall applications. Restricted-use pesticides are not included. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PLEASE read and follow the label. Also, make sure your application site is listed on the label!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Weeds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingcounty.gov\/services\/environment\/animals-and-plants\/noxious-weeds\/weed-identification\/blackberry.aspx\">Himalayan blackberry.<\/a> Glyphosate. Apply in September to October when canes are actively growing and after berries are formed. Fall treatments must be made before a killing frost. See <a href=\"https:\/\/pnwhandbooks.org\/weed\/problem-weeds\/blackberry-vines-wild-rubus-spp\">PNW Handbook<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingcounty.gov\/services\/environment\/animals-and-plants\/noxious-weeds\/weed-identification\/field-bindweed.aspx\">Field bindweed<\/a>. Dicamba or dicamba + 2,4-D. Apply in late summer of fall before killing frost. <a href=\"https:\/\/pnwhandbooks.org\/weed\/problem-weeds\/bindweed-field-perennial-morningglory-convolvulus-arvensis\">See PNW Handbook for more information<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingcounty.gov\/services\/environment\/animals-and-plants\/noxious-weeds\/weed-identification\/scotch-broom.aspx\">Scotch broom.<\/a> Triclopyr or triclopyr + 2,4-D. Picloram (Tordon). Triclopyr or glyphosate, depending on application method (cut stem vs foliar).
