Join us for the 7th Sensing the Ocean with Marine Radars Workshop that will be held June 24-26, 2025 on the campus of Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon!
Objectives
Since the first SOMaR workshop in Lerici, Italy in 2011, scientists and engineers have gathered on a biennial basis at the Sensing the Ocean with Marine Radar workshops to share their research developments on the oceanographic use of marine radar technologies. We are pleased to continue this series with our seventh international workshop, SOMaR-7, to be held at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon.
The workshop will feature a series of presentations on all things marine radar related with plenty of time for discussion and interaction. The traditional style is informal and it is a safe space to share your most recent results. We also encourage presentation of results from other imaging sensors that have overlaps with marine radar data processing methodologies. We also encourage you to extend your stay so you can explore our many attractions during the Oregon summer. More information will be posted on this website as it becomes available, so please check back often.
