There have been several issues during our AI group project. I was unhappy about the UI which I was in charge of, and we had several issues with the code so Dan and Jason had to give it a complete overhaul. The most important lesson I learned during this final project of my CS degree was that when you have a great team, anything is possible. We managed to work together on the UI change as well as on completely changing the code and giving it a proper structure it needed.
In terms of strength, this course gave us the ability to choose the project we were interested in, and the flexibility to work on it as much or as little we needed depending on our schedules and capabilities. When it comes to weaknesses and at the same time opportunities, I believe that it would be helpful if we could get a more thorough feedback on our progress and code so that we could improve as we go. I believe that the main threat of this course could be the actual team work. I was lucky to have a great team but I have previously experienced that a team work could be far from ideal.
This journey had its bumpy parts but was mostly smooth and I cannot believe that it is coming to an end. I have learned so much but with every class I realize there is so much more to learn. Now as many of us are transitioning into a new phase of our lives, searching for job opportunities, I wish everyone the best of luck on this new journey.
