Robert Mills received American Society for Microbiology Undergraduate Research Fellowship 2014 as well as Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Creativity (URISC) award for fall and winter 2014/2015.

Igor Wierzbicki received The Best Podium Presentation at the Annual College of Pharmacy Retreat at Salishan, OR. (2014).

Aleksandra Sikora was awarded the OSU President’s Commission on the Status of Women Award. This award  covers, in part,  Aleksandra’s travel to the 2014 ASM meeting in Boston.

Bo Park received a very prestigious award, the American Society for Microbiology Undergraduate Research Capstone Fellowship. This fellowship funds Bo’s participation in the 2014 ASM meeting in Boston.

Bo Park has received OSU College of Pharmacy Undergraduate Summer Research Scholarship for FY 2013.

Bo Park was honored with the Helen Alford Hays Women in Microbiology Scholarship for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Jake Weber’s project entitled “Evaluation of carbamoyl phosphate synthetase as a novel drug target for gonorrhea” was selected for an Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Creativity (URISC) award for Winter and Spring 2012-13.

Nini Tran received The Best Poster presentation award at the Center for Genome Research and Biocomputing Conference, OR (September, 2012).

Bo Park’s project entitled “On the path to uncover the function of a novel secreted protease of Vibrio cholerae” was chosen for an Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Creativity  (URISC) Start award for Summer term 2012.

Bo Park’s proposal entitled “On the path to uncover the function of novel secreted protease of Vibrio cholerae” was awarded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute for Spring-Summer 2012.

Erin Vallee’s project entitled “The role of novel proteases in Vibrio cholerae physiology” was selected for an Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Creativity (URISC) Start award for Winter and Spring terms 2011-2012.
