Hello World! I’m Shimey Loo 👋.
I’m currently living Los Angeles, CA with my husband, one year old son and two dogs! My first degree was from UCSD in International Business.
I started my journey at OSU Fall of 2020, and it has been difficult but extremely rewarding. One of the best decisions of my life. This will be my last class at OSU, and I can’t wait to graduate!
This past summer I interned at Northrop Grumman, and was lucky enough to be offered a full time Software Engineer position.
My current favorite listed projects are the Secure Password Manager and AR Popup Storybook Companion App. As a mother, I love the idea of the AR Popup Storybook, this is something my son would love and make books that much more fun for him. I also like the Secure Password Manager project because it is something similar to what I’m currently working on at work. There is a huge emphasize of implementing security best practices while coding.
I look forward to seeing everyone’s capstone project!
