Welcome to my capstone blog. My name is Serkan, father of two kids, a 7 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. I studied civil engineering followed by an MBA. Since then, I have been working in various fields of finance and investment industry, including treasury, brokerage, M&amp;A advisory, private equity fund management, and management of the invested companies.<\/p>\n<p>I have always been passionate about both, finance and computer science since I was young. Therefore even while working in finance and investment industry, I have always used my computing skills to contribute to increasing the operating efficiencies and identifying new opportunities. With the work-from-home policy brought up during the COVID time, I had the opportunity to plan for gaining\u00a0 a full CS degree and started with the post-bacc CS program at OSU. I finally reached the end of the program, having gained the foundations of computer science, ready to take a real life challenge through this capstone project.<\/p>\n<p>In my blog, I will be sharing my experience, thoughts and feeling while going through this journey of working on my project.
