Sahal Yacoob PhD 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sahal Yacoob came to Northwestern University with a Master&#8217;s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town.\u00a0 He was a Luminosity expert on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www-d0.fnal.gov\">DO experiment<\/a> and Fermilab and measured the <a href=\"http:\/\/inspirehep.net\/record\/1091237?ln=en\">W boson mass with and uncertainty of 0.025<\/a>%.\u00a0 After graduation he joined the new South African effort on the ATLAS experiment at CERN, first at the University of Wittwatersrand, then at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He has moved back to Cape Town as a Lecturer in Physics on ATLAS as of summer 2015.\u00a0 See news from Sahal on the <a href=\"http:\/\/atlas.ch\/blog\/?author=1963\"
