With all of the research done last week regarding Food Research, the topic blended in with Food Technology. Because of this blending, I decided to hold off on furthering research on that aspect, and decided to pursue Home Gardening.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It&#8217;s been fascinating to see the different types of sources that touched on home gardening, whether it be during the World Wars and encouraging victory gardens to radio home garden segments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Fun fact: The 4-H club used to have victory garden competitions! (You can even see the pictures in the <a href=\"http:\/\/scarc.library.oregonstate.edu\/findingaids\/?p=collections\/findingaid&amp;id=1464\">4-H Photograph Collection<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There&#8217;s a wide array of information, and it&#8217;s easy to get overwhelmed. I think the key thing I&#8217;ve learned from doing this LibGuide so far is to refine, refine, refine. Refining your searches helps you find the things you&#8217;re looking for. Also, thinking of the variations that you can use to find what you&#8217;re looking for.
