John Selker

Dr. Selker, principle investigator for the Sand Dam Research, OSU distinguished professor of Biological and Ecological Engineering, and co-Director of both CTEMPs and TAHMO.org.

Joe Ellingson

Joe is a master’s student studying water resource engineering. He is conducting flume experiments to assess how sand dam sedimentation is impacted by different dam outlet structures.

Sevval Gulduren

Sevval is a master’s student in Mechanical Engineering. Her research focuses on the sedimentation processes in sand dams, particularly in Kenya. She studies effects of dams in sediment transport in ephemeral rivers by applying computational modeling techniques.

Gordon Grant

Dr. Grant is a Research Hydrologist with the USDA Forest Service at the Pacific Northwest Research Station in Corvallis, Oregon, USA, and also Courtesy Professor in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University.

Kendra Sharp

Dr. Kendra Sharp is the Senior Adviser to the Provost for International Affairs at Oregon State University (OSU), the Richard and Gretchen Evans Professor of Humanitarian Engineering, and a Professor of Mechanical Engineering.
