Fire/EMS Maps

So far my favorite technology from our project is the vector and point maps. They use BoxMap to display a map of the area that is selected by the metadata. The vector map is used to display the road network that can be taken for emergency responses and a point map is used to show signal intensity, such as time in minutes for the first unit to arrive at an emergency incident. These maps are my favorite technology at the moment because It’s a first to code a BoxMap and I also think the idea of using it to track road networks and signal intensity is extremely useful in helping Fire/EMS making future decisions for their emergency responses.

Though, I do believe it can be made better by also overlaying the point map and vector map. It would would benefit to have the vector map that displays the road networks to also have points that show where exactly each fire station is located. This way we can see which road network each fire station would take.
