We’re getting close to the end of the semester, and we’ve also reached the end of our milestones for overcoming imposter syndrome! I know, I should have built up the whole dramatic introduction, long pause… but I was so excited I couldn’t help myself! What a story within a story. 10/10 would recommend (from a totally unbiased reader).
Tonight, I spent a lot of time working on our code. It’s interesting, working on a team and not really connecting with them often. I didn’t accomplish EVERYTHING I wanted to, but I’m surprisingly okay with that and excited about what I did accomplish.
The real celebration moment here, is that tomorrow morning I’m implementing all of these steps we’ve reviewed in our blog and meeting with my SVP to discuss my role in the company and moving forward with other product roles- which is both GREAT and TERRIFYING. So wish me luck, and I’ll catch you on the flip side of owning imposter syndrome each and every day.
