Work on Mirkwood Manor is now fully in swing! I’ve written the long and short descriptions for the rooms of my level, and have started piecing together the initialization and movement. We have a midpoint review coming up in the next week, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little anxious about it. I feel confident in my and my team’s ability to get everything completed well and on time, but my day job just jumped from 40 to 55 hours per week, and this is a busy week on the school side of things. I am definitely feeling some pressure – although it is nothing I haven’t dealt with before. I know I can do this, it’ll just take a little extra grit and determination this week! I continue to be impressed and pleased with my other group members – everyone has been great to work with, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a cohesive and like-minded team!
