- How do you work through being “stuck” on a problem?
- Usually I try to trouble shoot why it’s occurring, utilize google or stack overflow to find a solution or similar situation. If the problem is too big and complicated, I try to break it down into smaller, more manageable parts. I try to solve each part individually and then try to put the pieces together. Ask for help, whether it’s a mentor, friend or classmate.
- How do you approach learning something new, like a new technology?
- Look at the documentation, see if theres similarities in anything I’ve learned previously that will help me understand it easier. Look up multiple resources, like youtube videos, or guided walkthroughs to look at ways to make it easier to process.
- Do you use chatGPT or other AI tools? In what way?
- Yes, our project heavily involves chatGPT, so we interact with it a lot to help us come up with our project structure, code and tools for debugging, and building our website from scratch.
