Me as a Manager
The Manager I would like to be is one who is trusted and respected by his employees, while creating an enjoyable environment to work in. I want to make connections and relationships with everyone I am working close which will allow their sense of organizational commitment to only grow stronger. I want to create a mission and set of values that we can all stand behind, forming company wide shared goals that we all work hard to achieve. One key idea I plan to implement is a company-wide floor meeting, where everyone within the organization from the CEO to the janitor are invited to meet once a week to discuss anything people want. This way you can hear people’s great ideas and opinions from all levels of the company, rather than just the position reporting to you.
