- What is your favorite technology from your project and why? What is it used for? How could it be made better?
After working more with Trello, I have come to really appreciate its ability to organize a lot of information in a very digest-able way. With it, I was able to get subtasks clearly named, assigned, dated and applied to different columns for levels of completeness. The UI on the website makes it really easy to see all of this information clearly and everyone has easy access to it.
I do not know if Trello could really be made better. The UI is really straightforward and easy to use.
- How are you using AI in your project (or another one)? What are some pros and cons? Has it made you a better programmer?
I personally have not used AI for this project at the stages we are at right now, but I could see it as a way to get ideas for color schemes of basic layout designs for the front end of websites. Another method could be using AI to help look over a bug fix that I am stuck on when a TA may not be available. That I have done before (in classes that allow the use of AI for such tasks) and it has been extremely useful!
This has helped me be a much better programmer, similarly to how being around more skilled programmers helps you absorb some of their knowledge by asking meaningful questions and working through difficult and bugs without a clear answer to fix them.
