{"id":697,"date":"2011-04-03T22:25:32","date_gmt":"2011-04-04T05:25:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/psquared\/?p=697"},"modified":"2011-04-05T15:54:38","modified_gmt":"2011-04-05T22:54:38","slug":"hello-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/psquared\/2011\/04\/03\/hello-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Hello"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thought I would check in! \u00a0I&#8217;m thinking of creating the tumor suppressor protein, p53. \u00a0This protein helps regulate the cell cycle and is important in preventing cancer. \u00a0It has often been referred to as the &#8216;guardian of the genome&#8217; \u00a0and the &#8216;master watchman&#8217;. \u00a0I&#8217;m not entirely sure how i will incorporate the proteins function and nicknames into the structure and material used, but i have a few ideas! \u00a0Just returned from a weekend of snowboarding at Mt.
