QUEphone

QUEphone is a passive acoustic profiler float based on APEX float from Teldyne Webb Research. It is quiet, simple to use, inexpensive (approximately 1/4 of the glider) and suitable for a short-term acoustic monitoring. The standard CTD sensor was replaced by a hydrophone. Integrating with WISPR PAM board, it is capable of recording the ocean sound at high sample rate up to 125 kHz for an extended period. QUEphone manual is available here.
