Hello CS461! The project for this course has been going very well so far! We have been meeting with our sponsor Dr. Chris Patton on a weekly basis over Discord and asynchronously over text chat using the same platform. There have not been too many setbacks. We had positive reviews on our initial assignments and the team is communicating effectively. The biggest setback has been losing our team partner Ada, but I still feel confident our team will be able to complete the project in timely manner. Other aspects of the learning materials in the course have been easy to understand, as well. New technologies that have been interesting me in the project include the Bevy engine and the Rust programming language, in general.

Regarding my career, I currently work full time as a Web Designer at a Digital Marketing Company. My main role includes utilizing WordPress with custom themes to create and implement websites for client’s of the company. Most of our clients are franchised fitness brands. I plan on searching for a Software Engineering role after graduating from Oregon State. I usually exercise or sleep more to try to relieve stress between work and school.
